In today's modern world where almost every item imaginable has a microchip in it, it's refreshing to find an item like this where craftsmanship and mechanical elegance take center stage. There's just something to be said about winding up a finely tuned machine and watching the gears turn. This particular watch is well made and came packaged like it cost 5 times as much. I'm very impressed with the Stuhrling brand - so much so that I've ordered another one of their models.

I am glad I waited for the 44mm Cuvette instead of the 40. I like the larger style watches, like the Targa 47mm, which happens to be one of my favorites. The Cuvette has such a style that collectors need for business or formal occasions. The case is so thin that it slides under the cuffs on a dress shirt with no problems, but is still so very attractive for short sleves. Beautiful watch with perfect size. I am sure this will not be the last Stuhrling that will be added to my ever growing collection.

I just received this watch in black and its really a stud of a timepiece. This watch looks so different than the other watches I own. It is beautifully made, and with the curved back and very soft and flexible rubber strap it is very comfortable. The skeleton dial is really an eye catcher, it looks that good. Wore mine to the dentist and the before the cleaning started the famous word's you love to hear, "May i see your watch....where did you get it?" Love that !!!! This watch I would recommend to anyone.

I still cannot understand how you make such fine timepieces and sell them at these prices. I recently received my new Brumalia and I was blown away at the intricacy and attention to detail displayed in this piece. This has instantly become a favorite piece in my 35-watch collection. In addition to 6 Stuhrlings (!), I own a Rolex, several Breitlings, TAG Heuers, Omegas, a Panerai and some other really nice pieces, but this Brumalia knocks them ALL off the charts, at 1/20th the price I've paid for other pieces. I spoke to Larry Magen personally on a few occasions and found him to be an excellent representative of your company. Keep making great watches at great prices. My first experience with Sturhling was amazing. It was 9:30 pm central time when I registered my first watch from your company. Some one very special in your organization was working late in the east coast location and called me (WOW WHAT A SURPRISE). I was unable to set my watch being unfamiliar with the crown that screws in and out. The gentleman on the other end of the phone, 10:30 east coast time, explained, was most helpful. He went out of his way to assist me in the late evening. This speaks volumes to me regarding the manufacturer and customer service personnel of Stuhrling. I am very impressed and love my new watch. I have put off buying a good watch since I lost my Seiko on the beach in Maine in 1976. Believe me, it was worth the wait. My boyfriend loves to collect watches, and let’s be honest there are watches out there that are extremely expensive. I first saw Stuhrling Original on QVC last year, and I was impressed with the watches as well as the presentation. I knew my boyfriend’s next watch would be a Stuhrling, and the perfect opportunity presented itself this month (his birthday). The presentation is as fabulous as I remembered, and the watch is BEAUTIFUL. They even give you that “whatchumacallit.” I have no idea what it is called, but it allows you to set the dials. Instead of trying to find a pen cap or bobby pin to press the setting buttons. This will definitely not be his last Stuhrling. Plus I will be buying my first one shortly.

I have come late to Stuhrling, but sure glad that I did. The dial-work and the colors on my Manchester Ozzie are absolutely stunning. I never expected such a high quality piece with its excellent fit and finish for the money. As a watch collector, this is the first time I have written in to any company bragging about a timepiece. But Stuhrling has earned my respect with this one, and I certainly expect to buy more. What's more, this caliber automatic movement has been very accurate--equal to or better than my Swiss Eta and Japanese Miyota. I can't say enough for Stuhrling service--I ordered it through ShopNBC on a Sunday and it was at my door on Wednesday AM!

This is my third Stuhrling timepiece. I originally purchased the Regatta for day to day and SCUBA diving principally based on speaking to a fellow diver who had one. While he was waxing on enthusiastically about Sturhling he handed me his watch. I was immediately struck with the elegance, form/function, quality, and the understated beauty of the Stuhrling. When my fellow diver hinted at the price he paid I sincerely thought I still had half of the ocean in my ears. I went home that night and ordered my first Stuhrling. About 6 months later I started in a new employment position that required a more formal, professional dress and appearance. When it came to accessories, my first thought for a dress watch was to to re-visit the Stuhrling website again. There I found the perfect timepiece, the Heritage in the gold/black execution. What was most surprising was how little of the " soul" of this work of art was conveyed in the pictures. The "real thing" was ever so much more beautiful and elegant on my wrist than I had imagined. What a pleasant experience; to expect superior and get superlative! This brings me to my third. Remembering the pleasant surprise I had experienced in getting more than I had expected in my last two purchases I purchased the Adamas. The watch just arrived and I am absolutely taken aback by the design and architecture of this timepiece. I love it! I have diligently researched retrograde watches and dollar for dollar the Saturnalia is astounding. The fit and finish of the watch along with the "custom" designed face is truly a work of art. I feel as though the folks at Stuhrling really "get it" when gauging the public's desire for a beautifully rendered watch that is also a work of art. The numerals, hands, watchband, clasp, and crown all have that "refined" feel and look. Great watch! I just got it and I don't want to take it off. I'm a fan of luminescent watches, but as cool as the luminescent dial is, that's only the begining. When I pulled out the cown to set the watch the second hand stopped. A hacking movement at this price was a pleasant surprise. Nice retro dial with bold hands and numbers. A coin edge bezel and a very elegant polished bracelet. Just a really well made watch.

I was looking for a watch for my husband that was dressy but not too dressy, no body guards necessary type. I found it in this watch. It is just gorgeous! The band is really cool, the face and movement and the large date are perfect for my 50 something guy. I would recommend this to anyone as a great watch. I purchased the silvertone version with blued hands, and received a different version. I contacted Pearl in Stuhrling customer service, and she sent me the correct version without delay. She is a treasure! The regulator style is one I have wanted for quite some time. There is no way to appreciate the beauty of this watch without seeing it on your wrist. Each different form of decoration only adds to its uniqueness, without seeming cluttered or "busy." And the blued hands complete its classic look. Of all the automatics I own, this has the most beautifully decorated movement as well. So far, after 2 months, it's been quite accurate. I'm extremely pleased with this watch!

I just returned from a visit to an "old-time" jewelry/watch repair shop. The jeweler ajusted the wristband length for me. He looked the watch over very carefully and asked me what I paid for it. I told him and he said I got a real bargain. I asked him what he thought of the quality. He said it was excellent and that I could expect many, many years of exceptional service. What can I say that I haven't already said about Stuhrling Original timepieces in my last 3 visits to this site? I'm here this time for the Adamas regulator a.k.a. "the doctors watch." What a stunningly handsome watch this is on my wrist. Owning this watch after seeing the ten and fifty thousand dollar watches in person, just makes me wonder what justifies those prices when the same quality stainless steel and leather is available in Stuhrling Original, and with all of the complications and more. I'm convinced that I'm wearing a ten thousand dollar timepiece for the smallest fraction of those numbers. I can't take my eyes off of the Adamas on my wrist. Congratulations once again Stuhrling Original design team. This is one of your best!

The first thing that struck me about the watch online was that it was just so pretty with its shiny stainless steel case and band and beautiful mother of pearl face circled in diamonds. Then I looked at the price and I couldn't believe it. I LOVE IT. As people said, it's a little bigger than my other watch, but I needed a bigger watch and I was used to the size and weight in about a day. My friend has a similar watch--same band, similar in look although a flatter face--and I know she paid three or four times what I paid.

Stuhrling did not let me down at all. There are those watches that, upon seeing for the first time, just absolutely grab me and will not let go. This is the effect Manchester Ozzie had! The presentation of the watch is second to none. And the watch itself? It is simply beautiful. The curvature of the thick, bright orange, genuine leather strap, combined with the curvature of the watch itself, makes the Ozzie the most comfortable watch in my modest 25 watch collection. I truly do love my Manchester Ozzie and it will not be the last Stuhrling for me.

I have a couple of watches...Tag, LP, and I wanted to add to my collection. This watch looks like a $$$ thousand dollar diving watch. I bought one last year for my sister, and she's been very pleased with its durability. She has taken it on dives and while snorkeling/swimming in the ocean, and it has really held up well. The size is perfect. The rose gold accents are perfect. The black face is stunning...it has a slight irridescence. I would highly recommend this watch. You cannot beat the value!

To say that this watch exceeded all expectations would be an understatement. My wife was thrilled when she received her Lady Gatsby. It is beautiful but functional. Well I'm back again for the third time with Stuhrling Original. This time for the Manchester Square Chronograph. Strap on this orange & black sport watch and it looks and feels like a $10,000 timepiece. The curved case combined with the nubuck lining stitched to the inside of the orange leather strap makes this the most comfortable watch you can imagine. If you drive with this watch on be sure to watch the road, there's a tendency to continuously stare at it.

Whenever I wear this watch I get at least one comment on it. It is one of my favorite dress watches. It keeps excellent time and feels so good on my wrist. The design is pure elegance and style. I purchased the rose-gold. I was a little concerned because so many manufacturers have such a cheap, phoney color but once I received it I was very pleased with the rich, deep colors. Stuhrling Original, in my humble opinion, is by far the best value of any watch made today. The company maintians such strict quality standards, has such beautiful designs and phenominal pricing that I don't understand why they don't sell them for at least four or five time what they do. You simply can't beat Stuhrling Original products at any price.

I am a collector who owns a number of watches, some far more expensive than the Stuhrling Original Madison Avenue which I purchased more than a year ago, but none finer. It quickly became my favorite dress watch and has received more notice and compliments than any other timepiece I've ever owned. Whenever I wear it compliments turn to looks of disbelief when I reveal the cost. The Stuhrling easily out performs any other in my collection in time keeping, as well as rich appearance. For all of these reasons I have just purchased my second Stuhrling Original, and it arrived with the same handsome quality look as the first. So attractive are these watches in person, that I am planning further Sturhling Original purchases. The first of which will certainly be the orange and black Manchester Square Chronograph. My first Stuhrling Original purchase, and as I have watched Larry several times on ShopNBC, I thought why not? He has presented some beautiful watches. I fell in love with the Adamas Regulator (my favorite complication), so I ordered it in the Silvertone model. I received it today, and it is an absolutely gorgeous watch, and the packaging is very nice also. After 2 hours, this watch is one of my all-time favorites. Keep the great watches coming; I'll purchase many more!

Well--I received my Swiss Rallye today, and all I can say is...w-w-w-wow. The band was easy and accurate to adjust, I got a perfect fit, the band matches the heft of the watch (for once), and the weight matches the size, very comfy. I've bought enought watches online to be very pessimistic, but this is actually more than it appeared to be. I think Stuhrling is approaching that "elusive quality of interior self-purpose which makes an enteprise cohere and gives it Soul". I've finally found a watch to live with---thank you Stuhrling.

I am VERY impressed with the watch I have purchased (the Atlantis). Larry Magen was kind enough to answer my questions I had about my purchase. He handeld the telephone call personally, most companies would not give you that type of personal treatment. The watch I bought is the Atlantis. It is FAR beyond what I would have expected at the price I had paid. The watch is smooth, fit and finish is top nocth work comming from any company. I was very happy to see Stuhrling listed in my new Watches International 2008 book. The book includes all the top Swiss watches and in between watches that costs thousands of dollars, set Stuhrling Original! I have owned many a fine watch, but this one is the first that makes me smile each time I look at my watch. I have even found excuses to see what time it is. Grand fun in a very neat, well designed and not-the-average watch presentation. Not only does this watch have interesting features, it is beautifully presented in the gift box. And who thought keeping time couldn't be creative? This watch is better looking in person than any photo does it justice. Oh and did I say this is a well made watch with superior attention to even the smallest of details.

A superb watch of Swiss craftmanship, design detail and stylish modern looks. I am very pleased with the appearance of my new Stuhrling Winchester skeleton watch. The level of craftsmanship is similar to other watches that cost much more. The mechanism of this watch is very well displayed through the front and back crystals....it truly does seem like they have only left the skeleton of the watch intact. This allows clear view of the various gears and the automatic winding mechanism....something that a mechanical engineer such as myself will find fascinating. One other thing that I was not expecting to be impressed by was the band....this is a quality leather band that is not only substantial, but also eye-catching!!!

The Stuhrling Apocalypse rides effortlessly on the wrist. The rubber strap is extremely comfortable and secure. The overall fit and finish of the watch is what I expect from Stuhrling - impeccable. The black dial, bezel and strap are nicely counterpointed with the rose case, markers and unique bezel screws. The hour markers add a touch of dazzle in the proper lighting setting the entire watch off. More a copper (color) than a rose tone, the watch is an impressive addition to my collection.

Great Watch! I love it so much. I was anxious to receive this Stuhrling Watch and when it arrived I got real excited, mainly because I never owned a mechanical watch before. When I opened the box, I was stunned by it's beauty. Truly no picture can capture the beauty of this watch, you have to see it in person to believe it! The wavy sun ray dial is mesmerizing! You seem to get lost in time simply looking at it yet the iridescent blue hands promptly remind you of the time and suddenly one of these come across your face!:-) The back of the case is semi-skeletal with a swinging pendulum, it’s soooo cooool! …you get a real sense of quality with this watch. However, I have to tell you though, the feel of this watch is another dimension all of it’s own. Do you now see why a picture is unable to capture this? And! …it all adds-up to the making of an heirloom, now that’s really cool!…I’m sure to pass it on, even if it ever stops running, it will always remain timeless!

You won't regret this purchase! I must say that it's the most beautiful watch I have ever owned. I needed one for a very long time now, and I have always loved metal chronos, but when this one caught my eye, I just had to have it. I have spent months looking at watches both online and in stores and this is the finest looking one I found! I wasn't even looking at prices, and was pleasantly surprised how affordable this one is. I purchased it from Amazon and it came in a few days, and I was totally in love before I even saw it in person . The face is smooth, great looking of mother of pearl. I wear it every day, and I love how it sparkles in the sun. If you want a good quality watch, Stührling Original is an excellent brand, that has stood the test of time. It is my first Stührling but for sure not the last one!

I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with my first Stuhrling timepiece purchase. The Delphi model I bought is a beautiful piece of engineering. I love the skeleton face and back! I have received multiple complements on this watch already and I have only owned it 3 days. I was impressed with the packaging and even more impressed with the customer support I was given. This is a big bold watch that makes a definite statement. The color combination is very striking. The contrasting stiching on the band and especially the starburst pattern on the face set it off nicely. This is one product that pictures do not do justice. When the watch arrived I was very impressed by the packing and presentation. The instructions helped me figured out how the clasp worked and I set the time; date and moon phase. Everything about this watch is great. It's very sleek and stylish; and the time and date are easy to read. I love the clasp; once you set the size around your wrist taking on and off the watch takes about 5 seconds. This is my first Stuhrling watch but it won't be my last.

Well, I bought the San Marco because I always wanted to have a nice automatic with power reserve and less than $5,000 (i.e. affordable). I was very skeptical as I am used to quality=hefty price tag. My skepticism was wrong and I am very pleased with the watch. Even what Sturhling's President wrote me with regard to 'normal inaccurancy" due to automatic movements turned out to be better than expected and my San Marco is a) accurate b) beautiful c) worth the $.

I have been looking at many different wathces ranging from $100 - $15000 to replace my Citizen which has served me well for many years. I was quite pleased to see the fine craftsmanship and attention to details. The movement, screw in stem and bracelet quality of my Stuhrling Regatta rival watches of much higher price. WOW! what a handsome, beautiful, gorgeous, fabulous watch!! I just picked up my "Traveler" World Timepiece. The box the watch is presented in was a wonderful surprise to say the least and a great way to store and show this wonderful watch the few times I will take it off. I purchased this watch to use as a backup while my Citizen Sky-hawk is being repaired. However, I think that watch will now take a back seat. This watch is just too wonderful not to wear. The classic styling, the detailed work on the face for the 24-hour clock, and the rose gold case!! I just can't get over what a fabulous timepiece this is. And did I mention the band and clasp? A work of art in its own right. This is my first Stuhrling but it will not be my last. Who needs a $3500 or more watch? These are the best looking timepieces around.
