A great journey into the unknown, an experience that can only be captured by being surrounded by nature that was the inspiration for Stuhrling Original’s Safari Series, and ultimately the name for the Excursion. Designed after a very special timepiece located the Vault of our collection, the Safari, you can see many parallels between the two watches. What made the Safari so special was the classic crown guard and case design, not to mention the fact that it came with a genuine elephant strap!

The Excursion is a watch that has a powerful presence, both in its construction and in its movement. It features a distinct cushion-shaped case, each blanked from 316L surgical grade stainless steel, with a high polished beveled bezel. This gives the Excursion a very sporty look and feel while maintaining the presence of a dress watch. The handsome dial is decorated with printed hour markers and Arabic numerals for 12 and 6. The 3 sub-dials are powered by a Citizen Quartz chronograph movement, and they include a 60 minute counter, small seconds, and 24 hour indicator with a quick set date complication. Sturdy and well equipped, the Excursion is ready for any all ventures into the great outdoors.

What is rugged functionality without style and comfort? That in mind, we included a square grained alligator embossed genuine French leather strap, tapered and padded, with a steel tang buckle.
